London, UK (March 3rd 2021) – Faethm AI, a unique provider of human capital management solutions powered by artificial intelligence, today announces it has achieved the ISO 27001 certification - an international standard on managing information security.

ISO 27001 lays out the specifications for implementing an Information Security Management (ISM) system that can be assessed by an independent certification body to evaluate whether it conforms to the requirements of the standard. The certification is one of the most widely used information security standards and includes conditions on how to execute and maintain best practice security within an organisation.

Faethm’s ISO 27001 certification was issued by the internationally accredited organisation NQA. Obtaining the certification involved undertaking an external audit of ISM systems by NQA to ensure controls and measures put in place to protect the company are working as intended.

Every 12 months, Faethm is required to implement an independent analysis of its security posture, along with ongoing internal audits to ensure it is well equipped for maintaining the highest levels of information security, data protection and cyber security.

The audit process also involves a review of all suppliers in an organisation’s network, meaning all companies Faethm engages with are evaluated to ensure they meet the required standard.

Achieving the certification reinforces Faethm’s commitment to continuously improve and deliver the highest standards of ISM. ISO 27001 gives Faethm customers and partners assurance that the most stringent security measures are in place to protect their data. The certification also provides Faethm with secure foundations for future growth and scalability.

“International regulation and privacy laws like GDPR have demonstrated the growing importance placed on data protection and the ISO 27001 certification proves that Faethm is committed to delivering the highest possible standard in information security for its customers and partners,” said Tim Praill, Chief Operating Officer at Faethm AI. “The rigorous audit process undertaken to achieve the certification is a significant accomplishment for Faethm at an early stage in its growth, opening doors to partnerships with enterprises that place high importance on security and ensuring best practice security is front and centre of all business operations.”

“Dealing with large quantities of often sensitive customer data means complete transparency in security processes is of the utmost importance for maintaining customer trust. We believe undertaking the ISO 27001 certification process demonstrates to existing and potential customers that Faethm is committed to building strong, sustainable customer relationships with commitment to security best practice every step of the way,” concluded Mr. Praill.
